Accountability
Human responsibility does not transfer to a tool.
Dormy is accountable for its published educational content and corrections. A named byline recognizes meaningful authorship. A personal review credit records a complete review by that person. Publication approval records authorization to release an exact version. One does not automatically establish the others, and review dates must match the versions actually reviewed.

That confirmation is distinct from a claim that every fact in every older page was personally checked against a primary source. New and materially revised pages require full human review and source checks proportionate to the claims they contain.
Research and sourcing
Check the claim, not the confidence of the draft.
Material factual claims must have reliable support. The level of checking is proportionate to the claim’s significance, the risk of an error and how readily the information changes. Consequential claims about tax and retirement rules, pricing and financial risk require closer review against relevant primary material.
Sources and citations should be findable so readers can inspect the support. Research tools may help locate sources, compare material and flag possible errors, but AI output, competitor marketing and paid rankings are not evidence. A human reviewer must assess the support and resolve material concerns. Unsupported claims are corrected, removed or held, and estimates and uncertainty are clearly qualified.
Claims about Dormy must match its actual records. No editorial process can guarantee that content is error-free.
AI assistance
Disclose the role accurately.
AI tools may assist with research, source organization, outlining, full drafts and editing. They do not replace human accountability or provide evidence for a claim. The AI Use & Editorial Policy governs new and materially revised content from its effective date.
Substantially AI-drafted pages carry a quiet notice linking to the AI Use & Editorial Policy. Page notices describe the role AI actually played, named review credits reflect personal review, and AI-assisted illustrations are identified only when their provenance is known.

Corrections
When something is wrong, investigate and correct it.
We aim to provide accurate, useful information, but errors or outdated information may occur despite editorial review. If you spot a possible error, please contact us with the page link and details so we can investigate and make any necessary corrections.
