Privacy & Trust

Why Dormy has no public reviews.

We don't ask clients to post reviews, offer free products for testimonials, or publish endorsements. Here's why that is a feature, not a missing page.

Our position

Three reasons public reviews don't fit Dormy.

1. Privacy is the product.

Dormy clients are not anonymous retail shoppers, they are private investors who expect their financial decisions to stay discreet. Asking them to post a public review would break the same privacy standard we are hired to protect.

A review platform requires a name, account, and often enough detail to be credible. Even a vague five-star post can be linked to a transaction timeline, a location, and a public profile. For a dealer that promises discretion, that exposure is unacceptable.

2. Review data can be reverse-engineered.

Public review profiles, locations, dates, and nearby reviews can be cross-referenced to reveal more about a client than they intended. That risk conflicts with the privacy our clients expect from Dormy.

Review platforms are designed for visibility. But visibility is the opposite of what many precious-metals clients want. A competitor or third party can piece together identity clues from review timing, geography, and surrounding activity. We refuse to put our clients in that position.

3. We grow by referral, not advertising.

Dormy does not buy testimonials, run review incentives, or rely on public ratings. New clients typically arrive through a trusted introduction, which is a stronger signal than any online review.

Referral-based growth means our reputation is earned in private conversations, not manufactured through review campaigns. It also means we are not optimizing for volume, we are optimizing for fit, trust, and long-term service.

Transparency without exposure

What Dormy publishes instead of reviews.

We believe you should be able to evaluate a dealer before you ever speak with them. That is why we publish:

  • Pricing explanations, how spot, premium, spread, and fees work, with sample quotes.
  • Process documentation, what happens from first call to delivery or IRA storage.
  • A written Client Bill of Rights, our standard of conduct, not marketing claims.
  • Educational guides, how Gold IRAs, transfers, storage, and pricing actually work.

These materials let you judge Dormy on substance, not on curated social proof.

Common questions

What people ask about reviews.

Our clients choose Dormy for discretion. Public reviews would require us to ask clients to identify themselves online, which conflicts with the private standard we promise.

Most new clients come through a private introduction from someone they already trust. We also publish our pricing, our process, and a written Client Bill of Rights so you can evaluate us before any conversation.

Yes. Review profiles, locations, dates, and surrounding reviews can sometimes be cross-referenced to reveal more about a client than they intended. That exposure is inconsistent with the privacy our clients expect.

No. We do not publish client names, portfolio details, transaction stories, or endorsements, and we do not pass along client contacts as references. You can judge us instead on our published pricing, our written process, and our Client Bill of Rights.
